Highly Efficient and Fanless Design for Hygiene-Sensitive Areas
The new generation of NORD IE5+ synchronous motors is manufactured in-house for applications in intralogistics and the food and beverage industry. Featuring a compact and hygienic design, these motors offer high corrosion resistance and easy cleaning with the NXD tupH surface treatment. The permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is also available with an optional IP69K rating. A motor-integrated encoder comes standard, while an integrated mechanical brake is available as an option. By using this motor, the number of variants and operating costs are reduced. It is fully compatible with all gear units and variable frequency drives from the NORD modular product range.
