Constant optimum protection with NXD BASIC® and NXD tupH®

The NXD surface treatment has been specifically developed for aluminium. It makes aluminium surfaces particularly corrosion-resistant. Your benefit: NXD reveals the strengths of aluminium components for demanding installations. Aluminium is lightweight, economical, recyclable and thermally conductive. NXD offers two variants for optimum protection of your drive solution.

NXD BASIC®

NXD BASIC® is used if the protection of standard varnishes is not sufficient.

How does it work?

In the first step, the aluminium housing undergoes a surface treatment that creates a very hard, inert surface with optimum adhesion properties for the next layer. After assembly into a drive system, a paint or lacquer is applied that adheres perfectly to the treated surface.

NXD tupH®

NXD tupH® is the surface protection for extreme conditions in wash-down applications.

How does it work?

In the first step, the aluminium housing undergoes a surface treatment that creates a very hard, inert surface with optimum adhesion properties for the next layer. The treated components are coated with a thin, food-safe and strongly adhesive high-performance sealer and then hardened. Finally, the treated components are assembled into a drive system.

What are the advantages?

Resistant to acids and alkalis | No blistering, flaking or microcracks | Non-porous surface | Corrosion-resistant according to the highest corrosion class C5 | Food-safe according to FDA and EU Regulation 1935/2004
