Safe solution for areas with explosive gas mixtures
To ensure safe operation of our solutions in environments where explosive gases may be present, NORD offers in-house produced explosion-proof motors. In various versions, they provide protection against gases of categories 2G and 3G, which may be present in Zones 1 and 2 according to the ATEX Directive. These systems use the ignition protection types “Increased safety” (e), “Pressure-resistant encapsulation” (d/de) and “Non-sparking design”.
